Anja R. H. Skands, MSc, serves as Vice President, Drug Product and Device Development, CMC at Hemab. She has more than 20 years of experience in the biotechnology industry across early- and late-stage process development with a focus on protein and peptide development. Prior to joining Hemab, she worked at Biofac, Novo Nordisk and was most recently Vice President of Pharmaceutical Development at Ascendis Pharma. Anja has successfully led programs and people through early development, Process Performance Qualification, submission and regulatory approval by EMA, FDA and PMDA. She earned a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.
