Karen Weisbach serves as Chief People and Culture Officer at Hemab. She brings nearly two decades of experience building people and culture functions at dynamic, science-driven biotech companies. Karen has an extensive track record shaping values-based cultures in organizations growing and evolving at pace. Most recently, she was Senior Vice President, People + Culture at Kymera Therapeutics, where she built the company's Organizational Effectiveness, People Partner, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards functions from the ground up, and led the talent strategy that contributed to an award-winning culture.

Prior to Kymera, Karen spent six years at bluebird bio in senior people leadership roles, including Global Head of People Partners, where she led organizational design, team effectiveness, and helped scale programs and infrastructure through commercial readiness.

At Hemab, Karen is focused on building the people foundation and culture needed to support the company's growth as it advances new treatments for rare bleeding disorders.
